Lynda Harvie and Lorna Seath at the Birchtree Clinic at 3 South Vennel, Lanark

Lorna Seath - BEd(Hons) BSc(Dist.)

Born and educated in Glasgow's East end, Lorna's career spans 30 years, initially qualifying in 1981 with her first degree in Physical education from the Dunfermline college of P.E.

Lorna retrained as a physiotherapist at Queens College in Glasgow, qualifying in 1992 with a B.Sc. (Dist) in Physiotherapy. After starting her own business with a physiotherapy home visiting service Lorna established the Birchtree Clinic in 1998.

Lorna is known for her gregarious enthusiasm and friendly manner to her patients. Lorna has a very strong commitment to those with injuries and disabilities. Her other interests include being a keen gardener, painting botanical flowers in watercolours, and stone sculpting.

Lynda Harvie - Dip Phys MCSP

Lynda graduated from the Grampian School of Physiotherapy, Aberdeen in 1988. Lynda worked within the NHS for 10 years before moving to private practice at the Birchtree Clinic where Lynda has been for the past 13 years.

Lynda is an enthusiatic and dynamic physiotherapist with a real interest in musculoskeletal problems especially in the areas of muscle imbalance and dysfunction. She is also qualified to use acupuncture when and where appropriate.

On a personal level Lynda enjoys keeping herself fit and she has competed in running, cycling, and a triathlon. Lynda has a husband and three active teenage boys so Lynda is fully familiar with strains, sprains, knocks, and bruises of both day-to-day activities and in competitive sport.
