"As a badminton player I compete regularly. I attend both the Glasgow School of Sport and Scotland's National Training Squad. I push myself hard in my training schedule every day and because of this I need to work with a physiotherapist who can help me when I am injured as well as one who can deal with everyday aches and pains. The Birchtree Clinic provides expert, professional advice and support to me. Nothing is too much trouble for the physiotherapists who are always very welcoming and supportive. I have been attending the Birchtree for three years and I am grateful for their help and guidance." |

"I attended the Birchtree Clinic for physiotherapy following knee replacement surgery and I was impressed by the professionalism and friendly manner shown by Lorna and Lynda. They provided me with a range of exercises to strengthen, flex, and straighten the knee and they have worked tirelessly to retrain the muscles which had been damaged by years of incorrect alignment. My repaired knee was then able to support me after a repeated procedure on my other knee following which physiotherapy was repeated and extended to include a range of aquatic exercises. I have no hesitation in recommending the services of the Birchtree Clinic. " |
| RL - Biggar | "I had spent a month with a NHS physio with no progress whatsoever - the pain was getting worse. After the first visit to Birchtree Clinic the improvement was noticeable straight away! Following a few more sessions the movement in my arm was almost back to normal. If you have a mobility problem - I would personally advise you to contact the Birchtree Clinic." |

| "I have been a patient at the Birchtree Clinic for about 3 years with a long-term condition. I have always had excellent treatment from Lorna and I know that my regular appointments with her have gone a long way to improve my condition. Lorna is always professional and approachable. I find her explanations of my problems and the treatment much clearer than any other physio I have worked with. I look forward to my appointments knowing that I will leave in much less pain than when I arrived, and that I also will have learned something new." |

| "Last year I had severe pain in my hip. I am an enthusiastic bowler and I was very close to giving up playing. I decided to visit the Birchtree Clinic. The friendly welcome I received immediately relaxed me.
I explained my problem and my situation was assessed. - They are very good listeners! After the initial consultation I was presented with a set of bespoke exercises which I followed to the letter. The improvement was immediate and thanks to the up-to-date methods and the conscientious care of the clinic's staff I enjoyed getting better in their hands. I am now recovered and happy to report that I am bowling again this season." |

| "I am writing to thank the Birchtree Clinic, especially Lynda Harvie, the Physiotherapist who provided the excellent treatment I received to completely cure my constant neck and shoulder pain.
As a golfer it is so important that I have complete mobility in the upper part of my body and the severe pain I was encountering at the base of my neck and shoulder area was proving to be a major issue for me in this respect. I have attended the Birch Tree clinic and have been attended to by Lynda Harvie, and the physiotherapy I have received from Lynda and the subsequent regime of exercises advised to me by her have completely cured the problems I have had . I have been subjected to pain as described frequently over the last few years and it has only been after my course of treatment from Lynda that I now am completely pain free. I continue with the exercises advised to me and attend the clinic periodically in order to remain in this happy position. I can truthfully say that the ability of Lynda to spot the problem and work on the cure through her professional knowledge and ability, has given me complete freedom from pain and has also given me the correct knowledge on exercise and posture to compliment the treatment and the resultant wonderful comfort of a pain free, mobile and more active life." |

| DN - Lanark | "Working in a manual profession I have, over the years, sought the services of a Chartered Physiotherapist when GP visits have failed to offer satisfactory relief from pain or restriction of movement.
Treatment at the Birchtree Clinic offers me a 'Limp in - Walk out' service" |

They’ve fixed backs, ankles, knees and shoulders - and my wife’s broken shoulder on the way! What more can I say?” |

| "From personal experience I can highly recommend the treatment provided by the staff at the Birchtree clinic.
I first went there several years ago when I had a problem with one of my shoulders,, caused by trying to uproot a large bush from my garden. I was in pain and unable to raise my right arm above shoulder level. Lynda solved my problem. Using physio and simple exercises (some of which I was given as homework) I was soon able to perform essential everyday tasks. Staff at the Birchtree also do home visits. Approx 3 yrs ago I contacted Lynda on behalf of my mother, who had fallen and required a hip replacement. In her professional capacity, Lynda visited my mother regularly. Lynda was, and is always cheerful, friendly and patient with a very positive attitude. She built up a really good rapport with my mother (who had dementia) and made a real impact on the quality of my mother's last few months of life. At the end of last year I was having problems with one of my knees and a neighbour said to me, "My, but you're really limping quite badly". This was an accurate description of my walking. I went to see Lorna. She has an analytical approach to her patient's problems. She enjoys problem solving and wants to know the history of the problem. Can you do this or that? How does to feel when you do this? She then works out exactly which muscles need to be worked on and strengthened. Thanks to her problem solving approach I am once again able to enjoy simple activities, which I had abandoned, such as walking out to, and round the Loch and going to my weekly exercise class. Once you have experienced the benefits of treatment from an experienced, professional and friendly physiotherapist, such as Lynda or Lorna at the Birchtree Clinic you will be delighted with the improvement it can make to your physical well-being and consequently to your quality of life." |

Lorna and Lynda decided that this client came slightly too late for useful treatment.
